Polypropylene Strapping

For bundling or securing boxes, packages, and pallets, polypropylene strapping is an economical, flexible, and lightweight packaging option. It is easy to handle, has good tensile strength, and doesn’t split. It guarantees secure transportation and is affordable and easy to use for daily tasks, making it ideal for light to medium loads.

PP Strapping is ideal for: Boxes, Newspapers, Food Packaging, Light Pallets.

Specification for PP Strapping:

Widths: Options for width: 5mm –19 mm

Thickness: 0.35 to 1.0 mm in breadth

Break strength of polypropylene strapping: 45–500 kg

Elongation: 14–20%, meaning the PP strap can stretch 14–20% longer than its original length under tension before breaking or permanently deforming.

PET Strapping ideal for: Timber, bricks, metals, heavy goods, replacing steel strap.

Widths: Options for width: 7mm – 32mm

Thickness: 0.4mm – 1.5mm in breadth

Break strength of PET strapping: 200kg – 1500kg

Elongation: PET Strapping typically has an elongation of about 10-15% less stretch than PP strapping which is ideal for heavy loads.

Colour Options: Black, clear, green, white, red, yellow, orange & blue

PET strapping offers several advantages, including UV resistance, compatibility with automatic machinery due to its high rigidity, low creep, and excellent value—being as strong as steel yet more cost‑effective. It is also resistant to temperature fluctuations, impacts, and chemicals, while providing good orientation and reliable elastic memory.
