Yes, we agree, the recession is still a harsh reality for everyone.  And it is true that the continued uncertainly of the erratic economic climate persists in making most members of the business community jittery, to say the least.  But here at Smartlift Bulk Packaging, several key factors have ensured that we’ve kept on growing through these trying times and indeed are now looking forward to yet another year where we continue to expand our company.

We’ve been on this continuously positive path since our launch in 2005 and we believe one of the most important elements that has led to such sustained buoyancy is most definitely our total commitment to provide our customers with consistently outstanding service, high quality and unbeatable value.

This is the theme that has taken us from zero to a turnover approaching £3m, the promise that has attracted the now hundreds of clients we supply with flexible packaging materials to not just deal with us once, but in so many cases to keep coming back and also – a bonus that is always particularly gratifying –  to recommend us to their colleagues.

Our success and the stability it has brought to our business is undoubtedly a reassurance to the people we serve.  As a consequence of this strength, they know we’re reliable, that we are most definitely here to stay.

And interestingly, the sheer extent and diversity of the ever increasing range of products we now sell to the wide variety of different companies who are themselves in so many different businesses is in itself a buffer against the potential dangers of an uncertain market.

The bulk bags we provide go to businesses of all types and sizes, from construction through to the food & chemical industries.  This means that, should order levels happen to be reduced in one sector due to a decline in that particular area of the marketplace, it is usually more than compensated for by activity levels elsewhere in our portfolio.

2012 saw us move forward in a number of notable ways.  Existing customers maintained and often expanded their relationship with us.  And we were delighted to meet with and start to serve a number of entirely new additions to our client base.  We moved into our cutting-edge, custom designed new premises in Cambridgeshire, rationalised our original King’s Lynn headquarters to make them even more efficient and continued to develop our national storage and distribution network, which allows us to confidently promise a 2-3 day delivery service from stock to anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Now well into the first month of 2013, we’re looking forward to another year when we carry on applying the same rock solid principles that have advanced our company to its position among the leaders in our specialised field.  We will remain steadfastly independent and family owned.  We will continue to scour the world for innovative packaging solutions to add to the range that we offer.  We will keep advancing and enhancing every facet of the Smartlift Bulk Packaging service.
